Water Softener BILT Nical 900150L

This is a Nical 900 water softener  – (good for keeping your machine safe for 150 litres at standard hardness)

Suitable for most semi-automatic espresso machines with an intake hose in the water tank.

The scale resin filter prevents the buildup of calcium in the boiler of your machine. As water is passed through the resin, the calcium sticks to the resin.
Resin filters need to be replaced every 6 months or 150 litres, depending on water hardness. In a very hard water area,s we suggest replacing it after 3 months.

Before installing a water softener:

• Rinse in fresh water and leave in a container of water for 10 minutes – only then can you put it into your water tank. This will remove the resin aroma.
• Fits on the end of the inlet pipe in your machine’s water tank.
• Switch on the coffee and run until the tank is empty – refill the tank with water.

⚠️ If water does not suck through the hose – then resin beads have clumped together. Remove the filter and shake vigorously.
