Capsules
The king of convenience. Capsules come out of the machine at the perfect temperature for drinking, allowing you to enjoy a cup of coffee with only a press of a button.
We recommend:
- Crema Bar for something mild
- Espresso Forte for a medium blend
- Montenegro for a strong hit
Cold Brew
After something a little cooler? Cold brew is made by soaking coffee grounds in cold or room temperature water for 16-24 hours. The slow extraction helps create something less acidic while remaining a smooth and heavy-bodied coffee.
We recommend:
Drip Filter / Pour Over
Perfect for households that drink a lot of coffee. Convinient and foolproof, it offers a well-balanced flavour without needing to add milk or sugar. You’re in complete control of the quantity of grounds and water, giving you control over your cup.
We recommend:
Espresso Machine (Automatic and Manual)
The premium experience for strong coffee, notably among espresso-based drinks. It forces a small amount of hot water through a large amount of pressure, extracting through finely-ground coffee beans for a super concentrated pour. Automatic machines offer a no fuss, no mess way to get a strong cup of coffee.
The manual machine is for those who want complete control of their coffee.
We recommend:
- Etrusco for if you’re after a strong hit
- Velluto for a smoother taste
- If you’re drinking with milk, Espresso Forte is a great choice
Moka
The most affordable way to make a strong cup of coffee. With a little practice, it’s a fantastic way to dial in a rich, concentrated and flavourful cup.
We recommend:
- For something milder, Espresso Gold
- For something stronger, Crema Bar
- If you’re adding milk, Espresso Forte
Plunger / French Press / Aeropress
French Press offer a full-bodied flavour by soaking coffee grounds directly into hot water. Water stays in contact with the grounds longer due to the lack of a filter, giving a more well-rounded taste with bolder, richer flavours.
Aeropress offers a similar flavour profile and has long been the choice for coffee lovers on the move. It works like a syringe, plunger forcing the hot water and grouds through a filter. It offers a smooth taste with low acidity and a quick brew time.
We recommend:
Turkish Brikka
Turkish coffee is one of the oldest brewing methods, made by adding coffee grounds to a small pot known as a cezve which is then heated over a gas flame until it boils. The result is intense flavour that isn’t too acidic, presenting a different flavour profile to the smoother, cleaner taste that regular coffee brings.
We recommend:
- For a traditional turkish flavour, Santos Minas
- For something a little smoother, Bar 6
